A Landshark Love Connection…
We first met at Destin’s famous Landshark Pizza in early 2021 where we soon discovered our mutual love of cats, puzzles, and good books. We spent the next few months getting to know each other over sunsets, trips to the zoo, and our favorite restaurants. One thing was clear right away—we couldn’t wait to start traveling together. Our first year brought us to the Grand Canyon, the coast of Maine, Paris, and New Orleans. And we were just getting started…
Building a Life…
It didn’t take long to realize we couldn’t be apart very long, so we decided to combine our home offices in order to spend the evenings together and keep up with our work. Of course, the rest is history… We adopted a cat and named her “Juno” (Landshark for short) who became the youngest addition to the household. When we weren’t jet-setting, we were melding our families together under the same roof. We all quickly adjusted to having a “little” Aiden and a “big” Aedan. We’re still wrapping our heads around the fact that we’ll soon have four teenagers between us!
The Trip of a Lifetime…
With our birthdays being exactly four days apart and our 40th on the horizon, we decided to plan the trip of a lifetime last August. From Greece to Denmark to Iceland, we married Nick’s love of the outdoors with Fuchsia’s foodie passions. We hiked through a gorge in Crete, climbed waterfalls in Iceland, and added a couple new proteins to our “I’ve eaten” resume… Not only did we get to ring in a big life milestone together, we got to challenge ourselves and each other in the best ways.
The Proposal…
We had Asheville, North Carolina on our bucket list from the beginning, so we were excited to kick off our 2023 travel schedule with a long weekend exploring the mountain town famous for its art, great food, and of course, the Biltmore Estate. After a tour of the estate, Nick led us on a walk through the grounds. Just past the waterfall by Bass Pond, he proposed. A little extra surprise came when our friends Solange & Nick Jazayeri flew up the same day to celebrate the weekend with us.
